This Project Tells an Important story on minority expectations in film
When looking at work from a minority writer or director there are these enormous expectations to cover a multitude of prominent issues within our respective communities. When usually white directors are not as scrutinized when making films of topics with less magnitude. A Prayer takes a look at the feeling these directors feel when everybody looks for this type of meaning in a film they didn't intend it for and how we get bombarded with negative perspectives because of this expectation.
